16th Polar law Symposium, Tórshavn, Faroe Islands, 26-28 October 2023

The University of the Faroe Islands is pleased to announce that the 16th Polar law Symposium will be held in Tórshavn, the capital of the Faroe Islands, between the 26th and 28th of October 2023, organized by the Kári á Rógvi Institute for Law and Legal Research.

Submissions for the program are now invited.  Submission deadline: 30 April 2023

This will be a live, rather than a virtual, event. 

There is no overall theme for this Symposium. However, the organizers particularly hope for, and encourage, proposals for contributions focusing upon “small-polity” issues.

 Language: The language of the Symposium will be English.
